Your privacy matters to us. PC AutoPilot is designed to run locally on your computer. We collect only what is necessary to provide and improve the service, and we never sell your data.

- To process payments and send billing receipts
- To provide customer support and respond to inquiries
- To send product updates, security notices, and (with your consent) marketing emails
- To improve the software based on aggregated usage patterns
- To comply with legal obligations
4. Cookies and Tracking
Our website does not use cookies for advertising, analytics, or marketing. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and cookieless — it does not track individual visitors and does not set any cookies in your browser.
The PC AutoPilot desktop app does not use web cookies. The app stores its settings locally on your computer (in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\PCAutoPilot\data\settings.json) and does not load any tracking scripts.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: Trusted third parties who help us operate the service (payment processing, email delivery, cloud hosting). These providers are contractually required to protect your data.
- Sentry: opt-in crash reporting. Disabled by default. If you opt in via Settings, anonymous crash details are sent to help us fix bugs.
- Anthropic: only if you provide your own Anthropic API key in Settings. The AutoPilot AI feature sends your prompts directly to Anthropic; we never see them.
- Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.
- Business transfers: If PC AutoPilot is acquired or merges with another company, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you beforehand.
6. Data Retention
We retain your trial signup and purchase records for as long as your license is active. If you request deletion of your trial signup or stop using the app, your locally-stored settings can be removed by uninstalling the app or deleting the data\ folder. Purchase records are retained for 7 years as required by law. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing [email protected].
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
- Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in any email
- CCPA (California residents): You have the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected].
8. Data Security
We use industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted storage for sensitive data, and access controls limiting who can view customer data. However, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.
9. Children's Privacy
PC AutoPilot is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by displaying a prominent notice on our website before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
